
General Manager Marc Taft
As General Manager of Pacci Ristorante, Marc Taft oversees all operations of the restaurant. His extensive restaurant and hospitality experience coupled with his passion for the business gives Pacci its signature degree of service and a dedicated focus on detail.
As a popular Midtown Atlanta gathering place, Marc knows that his and the staff's familiar faces and warm welcomes are what Pacci guests respond to. The natural ease with which he relates to people was the skill that helped elevate him through the ranks of several companies including Carlson Hospitality, Brinker International, Al Copeland Investments and Rainforest Cafe. While working with these restaurant icons, he served in positions that included executive chef, general manager, regional manager, director of operations, corporate chef and concept development director. In 2004, Marc made his transition to the hotel world looking to hone his hospitality skills further. He became Director of Operations for Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville. In 2007, Marc moved north to Minneapolis and took the position of General Manager/Director of Food and Beverage for B.A.N.K Restaurant located in the Westin Hotel, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts. During that time, he was awarded the HEI Hotels & Resorts Top Food and Beverage Operator for 2007-2008. When he joined Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, he served as the general manager of Domaso Trattoria Moderna in Arlington , VA before coming to Atlanta to open Pacci Ristorante.
In addition to his love of service and people, he has an equal passion for food and wine and this is what led to much of his career being spent at the helm of a kitchen as an executive chef. Marc will be quick to tell you that it is his knowledge gained during his time under the toque that has helped him lead service on the dining room floor.
Now happily ensconced in Georgia, Marc resides in Marietta with his wife, Elizabeth and his three dogs. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, mountain biking, traveling and, of course, cooking.
Marc has assembled a management and service team that shares his passion and that thrives on delivering an unforgettable experience that is both elegant and unpretentious.
